Armada places Nickel asset under microscope

Armada Metals Ltd’s focus on mineralrich southern Zimbabwe has led the company to search for nickel tucked away
beneath a known deposit at the Bend project.

Zimbabwe recently attempted to jumpstart its mining sector and opened large sections of historically well-explored ground. Government delegates at the Africa Down Under conference in Perth revealed there were 40 licences active in the country. Armada is hoping to take advantage of this new policy by making a discovery at Bend.

Phase 1 of the company’s initial 2,500m diamond drilling programme at Bend kicked off in October and the company aims to
identify a potential downdip extension of mineralisation hinted at by recent NSAMT surveys.

Initial exploration involves 700m of drilling into the known deposit with another 1,800m set to focus on untested targets to the north-east and south-east. Magnetic conductors gave the company clues to a possible north-south oriented, steeply dipping anomaly.
